BYE BYE RAÚL

Well now i am officially sad that Raul has to go. Raul is a pet turtle that belongs to both me and Branden. It sucks because we live on campus and now all of a sudden we aren't allowed to have pets like that. Now this is just stupid or maybe that's just me, i doubt it. Anyway before we even got him and was wondering if we could even have a turtle. We searched around and found out that it's ok, we got Raul sometime earlier this year (around Feb. which is in the spring semester) and everything was all good since. Now all of a sudden we have until tomorrow to find somewhere outside of the dorms to move him to. What if we had nowhere else for him. Bastards!!! Their reasoning is that its a health hazard...how if having a turtle is the same as having a fish?!!! According to them, the only thing allowed are small goldfish. STUPID!!! But hey what can i say besides goodbye. Not forever tho. He is going to stay at Branden's house which is like 30 minutes away from here. I live too far (1 hr and 30 mins). I'm going to miss you Raul.

NATURALNESS

I so love to be natural!!! It was the best decision i think i have ever made for myself. Of course i was influenced by my sister because she went natural first and i absolutely loved her hair. I have been for quite some time now, lets see...i'm calculating about 8 years now. I've loved it since day one of full on natural, not that phase where all of the straight hair was still attached either. I hated that to the fullest. I remember when i was extra anxious to get it cut off but i didn't want to have super short hair either. Not too long ago i cut it really short like almost boy length. I loved every minute of that too. But I did grow tired of that so when it finally grew out enough to do some kinky twists i just had to. I've had micro braids before, they were ok but my heart is in two strand twists. I absolutely love them with a passion. They look more natural. I dont like how i look with straight hair so i got twists. Although i have seen the micro braids done beautifully with natural looking kinky hair and I was so envious!!! They were gorgeous. Although i refuse to pay anyone else to do my hair when i am perfectly capable of doing it myself. Saves about 100+ dollars. Plus i just love to have hair that looks awesome and looks real. I dont know how many people think that all of this hair actually grew out of my scalp. HA!!!! Another reason i love doing my own hair is simply because it will look exactly how i want it to look. Like this, alot of the kinky twists that i see around are so perfectly neat and they seem to never fray or whatever. Not saying that is wrong, that's now my nigg shep's are. Her's are amazing, they look professional. The shiz!! but anyway i just like that old look, they seem more natural to me. I dont think i could deal with combing out this much hair. The only way i would have hair this long is with locks.

I would love to have hair that looks like this, whoever they are...they look awesome!!!

BRING ON THE SUNSHINE

I feel like i haven't posted anything in so long...geez. Anyway yesterday was a nice day mostly because its was like the only day it hadn't rained nonstop in a couple of days. I actually had some sunlight shine through my window. It put me in such a good mood that i listened to music and decided to wear a skirt, a tank, and flats to run errands. This simple skirt is something whipped up in like an hour with some elastic and some printed cotton fabric i got from the fabric store. Lol i would miss the chance to smile in the photo. I smiled a second after the picture was taken. That's funny.

FINALLY FINISHED

Omg I am so relieved that we are finally finished with the corset we were making in the workshop. The first saturday we were in there it took like 5 hours. The next saturday we went it took like 6 and then we went to finish on sunday, that took 7 hours. I had to go back to finish up the last stitches, put on the grommets, and lace it up. That itself with the grommets and getting the stitches right took like a freakin hour!!! I was so relieved when i finished. I got some food and took a short nap. I finally know why corsets cost like 200- 300 dollars!! They are so freakin tedious and you have to get every stitch correct and precise otherwise it won't fit. I was getting tired by the 2nd day so ummm im pretty sure ours (shep and me) didnt really correctly fit to size. We got so lazy. Later on i will put up some pictures.

OXFORDS

I've been so lusting over some freakin oxfords. I really need some and i know if i get some i absolutely have to keep from wearing them like everyday. They are so awesome. There is another pair that i was thinking about but they are completely sold out everywhere online which seriously sucks. They are so fine!!!!

I am so heartbroken about these!!! but i do still love the other ones!!! (at the top)
